Certified ADHD-Informed Coach, Counsellor & Accredited Certified Advanced EFT Practitioner
I’ve always been drawn to understanding people. Even as a student, I was the one friends would turn to when they needed someone to really listen.
Although I originally trained as a dentist, I soon realised that what inspired me most wasn’t the clinical work, but the people themselves — especially those who felt anxious, overwhelmed, or struggled with confidence and self-esteem.
That realisation led me in a completely new direction. I returned to university to study psychology and went on to train as a counsellor, qualifying in 2013 with commendation. Since then, I’ve continued to deepen my work, becoming an Accredited Certified Advanced EFT Practitioner alongside my counselling practice.
In my late forties, I was diagnosed as autistic and with ADHD. This was a turning point, giving me a deeper understanding — both personally and professionally — of how different our minds can be, and how much the right support can make a difference.
Alongside my counselling work, I trained as a Certified ADHD-Informed Coach, completing and being formally assessed on an ICF-approved programme.
My coaching brings together everything I’ve learned — professionally, clinically, and through lived experience.
I love this work. A client once asked me if I ever got bored listening to other people’s struggles — I can honestly say I never have.
Every person I work with brings their own perspective, experiences, beliefs, and challenges. With such diversity, how could I ever get bored?
I often think of my approach as being like working on a patchwork quilt. A variety of stitches, needles and threads are needed to bring together different fabrics — some beautiful, some more difficult — to create something meaningful and valuable.
Like an enthusiastic quilter who is always keen to learn new techniques, I’m continually learning about people and how best to support them in understanding themselves.
Today, I specialise in supporting people who feel stuck, overwhelmed, or misunderstood — particularly those who are navigating ADHD, autism, or both.
My work is about helping you understand how your mind works, so you can begin to work with it, rather than against it.
Together, we find practical, compassionate ways forward that actually fit you.
